This shows us that Jesus himself must be our peace and gladness, not our circumstances or any other thing. What a relevant call for each person in today's fear and anxiety! Do you know of that peace of God which surpasses all understanding? It is to be found only by having fellowship with the Triune God through faith in Jesus Christ, the resurrected Lord of glory.
